💌 Kisses to the family! | Exhibition by Éva Szombat

"I met Jolika, Ármándó, Rikárdó, the Rostás siblings, in 2011 at a talent show in Kispest. I was attending the master’s program at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design and was working on a school assignment. At the event, I set up a mini photo studio and took pictures of anyone who wanted one. Jolika and her family asked for the photos, and later invited me to their Easter celebration. I got to know everyone—parents, grandparents, cousins, friends. I became the family’s photographer, and for years they invited me to capture their important celebrations. In 2015, I photographed Ármándó and Reni’s wedding, and after a ten-year break, we met again this Easter."
