Few bands have chosen their name as well as Rise Against. While fashion trends have come and gone, Rise Against has remained a reliable compass of artistic resistance. Although they have constantly updated their formula, they have successfully preserved their original rebellious spirit for more than a quarter of a century. On their latest album, Ricochet, released by Loma Vista, they have created what is perhaps their most visceral, urgent, and high-stakes song cycle to date.
