Forest Swords, aka Matthew Barnes, rewires sounds into innovative electronic worlds. He has done this most recently on his critically acclaimed second album Compassion (Ninja Tune), remixes for Björk and Neneh Cherry, and a release as part of the DJ-Kicks compilation series.

In parallel, he has composed music for a number of visual and artistic projects, including the Sundance award-winning documentary 'Ghosts of Sugar Land', the drone etude 'The Machine Air' and the soundtrack to a dance performance for the Norwegian National Ballet by choreographers Emma Portner and Alan Lucien Øyen.

A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
